1) Do you have a retail store in Malaysia?
No. We focus exclusively on quality and service. We only operate online purchasing which allows us to cut fixed and overhead costs. This means that you receive a high quality product at a much better value than you would at your local jewelry store
Good news is we do have a showroom at Pavilion Embassy, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur for customer to view the physical diamonds and try out our setting collection. Please take note that our showroom opens by appointment basis. Book your appointment now!
2) Do you have gemologists as staff member?
Yes. Our founder is a gemologist by profession, our staffs are also well trained to ensure you have a stress free shopping experience with us. Our responsibility is to guide every customer to buy their engagement ring at the right price.

1) What is covered by your Lifetime Warranty?
All of our jewelry is manufactured using the highest quality materials and is inspected prior to shipment. We offer a Lifetime Manufacturer to protect against manufacturer defects in craftsmanship. The warranty does not include normal wear and tear or damages incurred due to trauma, negligence, lack of regular maintenance, loss, or theft.
Every Lavin New York customers are entitled to complimentary cleaning, prongs tightening and inspection services on purchasing of our jewelry.

2) How do I clean my ring?
The best way to keep your diamond ring sparkling and shine is to clean it often to remove lotions, skin oil and dirt, which may cloud it. Soak the ring in warm water and mild dishwashing liquid for a few minutes and gently shake the ring. Then scrub it with a soft toothbrush and dry it off with a soft cloth. Do it at least once a week. If you wear your diamond ring every day, you should bring it to a jeweler for a professional cleaning job once every six months.

2) Can I custom design an engagement ring/ wedding ring?

3) What if I order the wrong size?
We will resize your ring once for free within 365 days of your purchase. Return shipping charges applied. Ring sizing will be completed approximately 5 business days from the time the shipment is received (once we have resized a ring it is no longer returnable).

4) Can you engrave my ring?
Yes, we would be happy to personalize your ring with a small fees levied.
5) I have my own diamond but I'd like to purchase one of your settings. Can you set my diamond into a ring?
No, unfortunately we don’t sell setting alone.
6) I would like to place an international order. Do I pay for the shipping fees?
International shipping is done via FedEx International Priority. All taxes, duties and VAT should be paid to Fedex upon delivery. Please whatsapp us to check about the shipping fee and tax amount before placing an order.
1) What is GIA diamond certificate and why we only choose GIA?
GIA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and education in the field of diamond, gemology and colored stones. As the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, GIA developed the International Diamond Grading System in 1953 and this has served as the international industrial standard for the evaluation of diamonds.
Therefore, we only sell GIA certified diamond.
2) What are the “Four Cs”?
The Four C’s - Carat (size), Color, Clarity and Cut - are the industry grade standard from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Every diamond is specifically graded on these features.
3) How can I make sure the diamond I receive is actually the diamond I orders?
We ship every diamond engagement ring with a GIA dossier/lab report, to ensure your piece of diamond is as what you order.
4) Do the 18K white gold rings turn yellow over time?
Yes, very slightly. In order to give 18K White Gold a pure white color, it is plated with rhodium. This is a standard practice for 14K and 18K White Gold jewelry. Over time, the rhodium plating may wear off.
When that occurs, the true color of the white gold (a light yellowish colour) will appear. We provide rhodium plating on all our jewelry with a small fees levied. With repolishing, the ring will be like brand new again.
1) Is your website secured?
Yes. Lavin New York ensures that our customers’ purchases are secure. We use secure encryption and fraud protection for all credit card transactions. All sensitive data is encrypted using 256-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL). You can view our GoDaddy.com Certificate to see an independent verification of our site’s security.

1) Where do you ship the orders?
We provide free shipping to east and west Malaysia.
Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to request for delivery to the areas which are not covered by us at the moment.
2) How long will I get my item from the date I order?
You can expect your item to arrive within 3-4 weeks once the order is confirmed. Please contact us to check for the estimated delivery date for your order.
3) What if I need an item sooner than the date listed on the website?
Every pieces of engagement ring and wedding band from LNY are made by order. We will try our best to expediate the orders but still, we highly encourage you to allow adequate time for your design to be completed and inspected by our Quality Assurance team.
4) What if my item is lost during shipment?
We take every precaution to ensure that your order arrives safely. Your order is fully insured during transit.
5) What if the package when arrived has been opened or damaged?
You should not accept the shipment . Contact us immediately at +6010-368 3861. Please retain all packing materials unless instructed otherwise by Lavin NY. Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately or within five days of receipt of your order. Lavin NY is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
